After a 5-month hiatus, I'm back mapling. Here's shot of Fatseal and me (Brecht). Arh yes, from the name of character you can tell he was definitely name during the period of time I was still doing Theatre Studies and possibly waiting for Godot.
Now let me tell you about Fatseal. She's this level 30 Lightning/Ice wizard obssessed with PQ, hence she keeps killing herself so that she can remain level 30 and continue PQ-ing. I just cannot understand that. So here's a shot that shows her in one of her kamikaze mission:

Oh well.
Today was mainly a fight in the Subway with good ol’ blue slimes. And guess what I received:
Red Apprentice Hat, level 10 hat for magicians. And I picked up 7 of them.
Grey Able Armour, a level 10 top for female archers. Market value estimated about 2750 mesos.
Scroll for Cape INT, 100% success. INT+1. Market rate 400k.
Alas, no fish spear. Not that I am dying to procure an weapon that has a carcass of a seafood (as the French say, fruits de mer) attached, but it’s just one of those things one would love to have, like a panlid. And possibly another good news: my meso reserve finally hits the 750k mark (three-quarters of a million!). And my weapon assets are are at least about 500k worth. My Maple persona deserves every right to be haughty, smug and to strut.
UPDATE! I left the subway and went into Ellinia and hunted green mushrooms. And guess what, I received the much sought after panlid:
Panlid, a level 10 common shield, super rare, weapon def. 10. Market rate for one with such weapon defence is 450k+. How smug I am.
Just as I was Mapling and moping about not receiving Christmas presents and how Santa must have mistaken me for one of the insolent brats in my neighbourhood, I realized that I have been receiving quite alot of gifts actually. Within 3 days, I picked up the following:
Cutlus- a level 35 one-handed sword, market value of about 40-75k mesos.
Mithril Polearm - a level 30 polearm (which I intend to use), market value of about 25-100k (I am pertubed by the wide difference in price.)
Blue Avenger - a level 35 female Thief overall, which I sold at 60k .
And finally, this morning, the best gifts of them all:
Zeco - a level 40 spear (which I intend to use), market value of about 95k.
Nakamaki - a level 35 spear (which I intend to use), market value of about 70k.
