About Me
I am from Singapore.
No, that is not part of China/Malaysia/Indonesia. It is also not a 3rd World country. And we do not live on trees.
I am a graduate student researching in English Language.
Don’t ask me what I want to do after graduate school.
My greatest ambition is to be a TV chef or well-known makeup artist with my own line of makeup products.
I have too many hobbies to be devoted to any of them; I bake, I make trinkets, I bind books, I read, I blog, I crochet and I indulge in makeup and all things equally superfluous.
I am an Atheist.
No, I am not “anti” religion, just not in need of one to give me excuses to live/to do good deeds/to have moral standards.

Hello you! I’m liking what I read…
Well, I AM from the third world (Colombia), but just so you know, we don’t live in trees either.
Take care.
me: Heh, the living in trees joke came about because in one of the 1960s/70s encyclopedia in the UK, apparently it was written that people in Singapore lived on trees. What a joke.

Singapore’s a really clean place
Thank you. Have you been here then? I never really realised how clean Singapore is until I travelled around … lol.

Yeah, I went when I was younger, for a day and I stayed in the Airport. But, I’ve heard about the laws. I think you can’t throw gum on the floor or…… there’s a pretty heavy punishment for that.
Oh, now the law is no gum at all. Gum is contraband in Singapore, haha, except for medicinal purposes e.g. nicotine gum to help quit smoking. I guess it’s a good law, even though it’s semi-infringing on rights, but it really keeps the place clean and for individuals, less gum on shoe soles.

Hi hi…
I like the blog, entertaining yet meaningful. I live in S’pore as well, though I’m not a Singaporean. I’m from indonesia, (a third world :p) but I’ve never lived on a tree (but have climbed some during my childhood :p) and I have NEVER burned one (so hopefully I’m not a babi :p). Keep on writing.
